Don't fret, you still have time to purchase some amazing gifts for your loved ones! Here are my top ten last-minute holiday gift ideas for the wellness warrior, kitchen god or goddess, or just your very favorite person in the whole wide world.
We are only 10 days away from Christmas Ahhhhhh!!! You still have shopping left to do, right? Please tell me you do, it will make me feel a whole lot better about being very behind this year. I had a burst of holiday inspiration a few months ago and bought some gifts for family, which caused me to become overly confident that I was much, much further ahead than I actually am. No fear, last-minute Christmas shopping is actually kind of fun, and I am ready to tackle it! As I was writing out my list this morning I thought, I've got time to share some of these last-minute holiday gift ideas in a blog post, of course I do!
So I quickly put away the list for my family and friends and starting writing this one instead. Procrastinating? Never! Not me.
Nearly everything on this list is on Amazon prime, hello 2-day shipping (if you aren't on Amazon Prime yet now is the perfect time to grab a free 30 day trial and get that free shipping!) I love wandering around festive New York City during the holidays and picking up special nick nacks for friends and family, but when you are 10 days away from the big event it is time to get down to serious online shopping business.
Everything on this list I have either received or given as a gift over the past few years. This is really my list of favorites and maybe a few treats that I wish someone would give me as a gift 😉 Ok, Ready?

My Top Ten (Last-Minute) Holiday Gift Ideas:
#1 Smeg Electric Kettle – I bought myself an electric kettle a few years ago after a little incident where I set our stove-top tea kettle on fire. Twice. That story is for another day, but basically, I was forbidden to use a stove-top tea kettle again. Enter the glorious electric kettle. This is literally one of my favorite tools in the kitchen. Ever. Ever. Ever. It boils water super quickly for tea, or oatmeal, or anything you need boiled water for, which as it turns out is a lot of things! It shuts off automatically <<ahem…no fires>> and looks super sleek on your countertop. The Smeg brand is my favorite because…look at it! There are other types that are less expensive, I also like the Krups brand or this super inexpensive Hamilton Beach. I love this gift like LOVE – LOVE – LOVE – IT!
#2 Alternative Baker Cookbook is my favorite baking cookbook of 2016. The recipes are creative and divine and all gluten free. Alanna Taylor-Tobin (the author) uses really creative flours and I would like to bake just about every single recipe in the book. There are eggs in most recipes, so this isn't a gluten-free AND vegan cookbook, but as my Mom (the best baker in the whole wide world) says; if it's gluten-free AND vegan, why bother? JK, she does say that, but I love all healthy baked goods. Anyhoo, grab this cookbook for the baker in your life he/she will love it!
#3 Vitamix – I can't have a gift list without a Vitamix. I'm sorry. I know. I know it's expensive. It's a special gift. 5 years ago my Mom bought me a Vitamix for Christmas, it remains one of the best Christmas gifts in the history of the world!
#4 Gold Swell Water Bottle – I don't have this, but I want it (hint. hint.) I would never buy myself a $50ish water bottle, but I would totally use it and would buy it for someone else in a heartbeat. Swell water bottles are literally the best on the market, and quite frankly you look pretty darn chic strolling into spin class with one of these. I wouldn't know firsthand, but I'm just saying… I think I would look pretty chic (I hope Jordan is reading this).
#5 Le Creuset Dutch Oven – I saved gift cards for 3 years to buy my first Le Creuset and I love it with all of my heart. I have gifted a Le Creuset Dutch Oven several times over the years. This is a special, oh-so-worth-it gift.
#6 Quinoa and Kale T-shirt – Look, the fact remains that one can never have too much kale merchandise. I could just buy this for everyone on my list and call it a day.
#7 ebags Packing Cubes – My favorite travel “gadget” that I purchased in 2016 are these $24 packing cubes. These babies have totally changed the way I pack (and subsequently travel). I am an exclusive carry-on only girl now (well, mostly), and a card carrying packing ninja. This is the perfect gift for the adventurer in your life or the organized fanatic. Either way, a totally inexpensive gift that is abundantly useful.
#8 Thrive Superfood Smoothie Kit + Thrive Market Membership – Do you use Thrive Market yet? I am totally hooked! It's like the online Costco for health food, and my favorite way to save a ton of money on healthy groceries. When you sign up for Thrive Market using this link you will also receive a free bottle of apple cider vinegar (hello digestive wellness!) and a 30 day free trial. Win! Win! The smoothie kit is full of my favorite superfood ingredients, organic cacao powder, organic almond butter, organic goji berry powder, organic coconut milk, and more! This is the BEST gift idea for that wellness warrior in your life. I actually gave a superfood smoothie bundle as a holiday gift to my Dad a few years ago and he LOVED it! You could also add on this superfood smoothie cookbook. Oh man, this is a great gift. Who's superfood worthy in your life?
#9 Plenty by Ottolenghi – This has been my favorite cookbook for 3 years running. It's gorgeous, the food is amazing, and I want to cook every single recipe in it. It's an exceptionally ideal gift for the foodie in your life.
#10 Instant Pot – I am a new Instant Pot convert, I've only had mine for 2 weeks and it's been on my counter working hard nearly every day. The Instant Pot is a slow cooker, pressure cooker, rice cooker, steamer, yogurt maker, and more. 7 functions all in one. It's compact (which is necessary in my tiny kitchen) and works beautifully.
Happy Shopping!!!! and Cheers to a fun-filled, love drenched, adventure worthy holiday season 🙂
