- Fresh salmon
- Sriracha
- Hot honey
For the Blood Orange Salsa – The salsa is what truly sets these salmon bowls apart from other spicy salmon bowl recipes. It adds brightness, acidity, crunch, and freshness that balance the rich salmon perfectly.
- Blood oranges
- Persian cucumber
- Jalapeño
- Fresh cilantro
- Lime juice
- Salt
For the Bang Bang Sauce – Creamy, slightly spicy, slightly sweet, and incredibly good drizzled over the warm salmon and rice.
- Greek yogurt
- Mayonnaise
- Sweet chili sauce
For the Bowls – Jasmine rice is especially delicious here, but brown rice, quinoa, or even shredded cabbage work beautifully.
- Cooked rice or your favorite grain

How to Make Salmon Bowls:
Step 1: Prep the Salmon
Cut the salmon into evenly sized bite-sized chunks. In a bowl whisk together hot honey and sriracha until smooth, then gently toss the salmon until evenly coated.=
Step 2: Cook the Salmon
Air Fryer Method – Arrange salmon in a single layer and air fry at 375°F for about 8 minutes.
Broiler Method – Place salmon under the broiler for 6–8 minutes until lightly caramelized and cooked through.
You want the edges lightly crisp with lots of sticky caramelization.

Step 3: Make the Blood Orange Salsa
Carefully peel and chop the blood oranges, then combine with cucumber, jalapeño, cilantro, lime juice, and salt.
The salsa should taste bright, juicy, fresh, and slightly spicy.

Step 4: Make the Bang Bang Sauce
Stir together Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, and sweet chili sauce until smooth and creamy.

Step 5: Assemble the Bowls
Divide warm rice between bowls, top with spicy honey salmon, spoon over the blood orange salsa, and drizzle generously with bang bang sauce. Serve immediately

Storage and Reheating Tips
These spicy honey salmon bowls are best enjoyed fresh while the salmon is still crisp and caramelized.
If you do have leftovers, store the salmon, salsa, rice, and sauce separately. Reheat the salmon in the air fryer or oven for the best texture.

FAQ
Yes, but thaw completely and pat dry before cooking for the best texture.
For salmon bites like these, the air fryer gives the best crispy edges and caramelization. The broiler is a great second option.
