Super Simple Salt and Pepper Kale Chips

  • 1 head of curly kale
  • 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  1. Tear kale leaves from stems and rip leaves into 2" pieces
  2. Wash and DRY very well (kale must be dry or chips will be soggy)
  3. Toss with olive oil, salt, and pepper
  4. Place kale in a single layer on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper
  5. Bake at 350 for 7-15 minutes until leaves are slightly toasty. Allow to cool and enjoy!
  6. RECIPE NOTES: *Ovens may vary, check your kale after 7 minutes but stay attentive chips will go from crispy to burned very quickly *Use any variety of spices you like, chili powder, cayenne, garlic powder etc.
